Candidates requirements

• PhD title
• Proved research expertise in a Spanish or international institution
• English
• Author or co-author of at least 3 papers in journals included at the Science Citation Index

Candidates selection

Applications received (until 1st September) will be evaluated by a selection committee made up of renowned Spanish scientists. This committee will interview a selection of candidates, taking into account that the candidate awarded should start working at the CRG on January 2011.

• Application form duly filled in, according to the model available at Novartis
• CV, with a highlight on the current institution, the 3 most relevant publications (included at the Science Citation Index), as well as a brief summary about the research interests of the candidate (maximum 2 pages of about 200 words each)
• Report from the director of the department in which the candidate is working, with a special focus on: scientific career, qualities, and future potential of the candidate.
• Application deadline: 1st September 2010.

Conditions of the fellowship

The fellowship at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), in Barcelona, will contribute to the boost of genomics in Spain, will last for two years. The total gross salary will be 30,000.00 € per year.
